2008 lincoln mkz shakes on highway, worse on left turns

hello, recently my 2008 lincoln mkz has developed a shake on the highway and is noticeably worse on left turns. anyone have any suggestions on where to start?

It could be as simple as a wheel that was torque with a little vehicle weight resting on it. I just had to reset all four on my Ranger for that very reason. Or it could be in the drive line, maybe a cv joint.

I would start by loosening up all four wheels and tightening them while the vehicle is in the air. If you have access to a torque wrench you can set them all to the same value. It can make a big difference. Mine shook so bad at 68-70 that all three mirrors were pretty much useless.

Is it worse on acceleration? If so and the car is fwd it's most likely the left front axle or both.
