Im guessing you meant 285,s?You might encounter some running on the lower valence.Id suggest a leveling kit[turn torsion bars] just in case

yeah, that is what i ment, and i think your correct. so i might just stay with the stock size just for now. thanks

couldnt i use these?
255-75-17

i think the stockers said 265/70/17 shouldnt be to much of a differance besides width right?

well i seen the ones i wanted on ebay, for all 4 right at 310.00 and 124 for shipping. then went to tire rack to check on spec;s, and they had them for 97 each. so i would rather get them from there to make sure there not blems ya know. oh well. so i paid right at 490.00 shipped. not bad.
and man, those your looking for would be sweet, i just dont want to lift mine right now.

you can run 33x12.50/18 on a stock ride height 4wd with no issues. 35x12.50/18 require a leveling kit. I own an 04 Screw FX4 done all the research for this.

they fit on Lariat's too. All i have is coil springs in the front. Just do the math for the 17" rims to equal that same size tire or close too.
