Anyone out here with the saleen supercharger making more than the 4.5psi it puts out from factory? Id like to upgrade to around 10psi but i think the saleen supercharger upgrade is for 5-7psi with a saleen reflash, belt, pulley and 39lb injectors.....my question is this, does an 05-06 saleen sc81 sc have addequate enough fuel system to upgrade to 9-10psi with just doing bigger injectors, pulley, belt, and a retune....im thinking of just having a custom tune done and going with 60lb injectors...what setups are reccomended for 10psi, meaning what chip or tuner to use, what size pulley and belt, what maf to use etc etc and will i have to upgrade fuel system to make the extra boost?

Thanks for the info. I am aware of this upgrade but I was thinking of a 525 to 550 crank HP setup and figured that it would be a nicer upgrade.I'm wondering what the guys with the factorey 475 hp Saleens are doing for the extra power when they go to get more boost. If like to make 450 rear wheel hp and am thinking I'd need at least 525 at the crank to make that power.if like to know what I need to get the car from the stock 435 crank hp to 525 crank hp. I figure cold air kit injectors fuel pump upgrade and custom tune.

Those items combined with a smaller pulley should do the trick. Be careful with the amount of boost you push with the stock internals. I am not too familiar with the S197 3V engines, but my 2V just cracked a piston with a safe tune making 366 rwhp.

JDM Engineering stage II kit here.

I've been running at 12 psi 3.2" with 500rwhp for the last year with the GT500 fuel pumps. I was at 10 psi for another year before that.
I have put over 600 1/4 mile runs on this setup + 10,000 street miles.

I installed the same kit with the 10 psi pulley 3.4" and no fuel pump upgrades on a friends car which JDM says is ok to 6000 rpm.

There are others running the Stage II kit + the GT500 pumps + 60# injector ad a BA2400 maf who are running in the 10's with a stock bottom end.
