Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Lightning Shootout
MM&FF is taking submissions for its 2006 Lightning Shootout. Rules are as follows:
• Gen I or II
• Stock-style suspension and body
• Full interior
• Any power adder—multiple power adders OK
• Any engine modifications
• Full exhaust—no bullet-style mufflers allowed
• All necessary safety gear for ET/MPH
The event will be held at Raceway Park in Old Bridge, New Jersey and is tentatively scheduled for August 8th, with a rain date of the 9th. We expect most contestants will be running eleven seconds or quicker, but elapsed times will not be the only thing we consider for admission.
In your submission, please include photos of the exterior, interior and engine compartment, along with the truck’s details and your contact information. You can email your submission to [email protected] or snail mail it to Primedia, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, Florida 33619, attn: Steve Baur.
