Heck No, the GT500 engine is quite a bit better

why is the GT500 engine better, could it be the rods are weaker (powdered metal), or maybe it's the heavier cast iron block, also reading SHM's long blocks, I'd say that the pistons he puts into his engines are just as good or better than the OEM pistons. I'd say that the GT500 has a better supercharger, simply because it's larger...

now in the future, the owner of that car can remove the 03 Cobra blower, and install twin turbo, with a built engine like is already in it, would easily make 900+ hp at the wheels, power that would make the GT500's engine scream in protest, right before parts started coming through the side of the block..

just tell me WHY it's a better engine...
