2005 Ford Five Hundred Limited Sedan

Looking at getting one for a DD. Anyone own one or know anything about these? It is black on black with 34,000 miles they want 13k for it.

Its VERY roomy and quiet inside. The 3.0 V6 is just barely enough for it but it can get out of its own way. Its nothing exciting but I think it would make a great DD.

My mom had one for awhile, it was a nice car but too big for her taste. She also freaked out because every time she saw another one on the road the drivers were 65+ (she's a little crazy about her age). Not really a performer but pretty comfortable.

You looking at the CVT or A-6?

:beer:I have one with AWD.Use it for DD in the winter when the Cobra is sleeping. Good daily driver avg. 20/22 MPG in mixed driving. Two trips to NC. avg 27/29 MPG.

get the Taurus, comes with the 3.5 V6 and I think 263 hp.. nice cars

My parents have one...I hate it...its just to mundane. I can't put it any other way...don't get me wrong. I do like quiet luxury cars...but the five hundred is so BLAAAAH. This is coming from somebody who enjoys driving an Accord.
