As some of you may know i'm also selling my 2004 Cobra, well the lightning is also up for sale. Need to make a smaller foot print and pay of some debt.
This was used as a daily driver / pool truck. All fluids maintained properly and driven by my dad, so in other words it was babied.
The truck is in decent shape but has some flaws which will be pictured. Overall it's a solid truck mechanically and will make a great addition to someone wanting to have a fun and relatively quick daily / work truck.
It has a little over 95k on the clock and I believe i'm the 3rd owner. Purchased in early 2010 I've almost had it for 3 years and haven't had a single issue with it.
Mods are basic but tasteful.
Engine:
- 6lb lower w/ quick change hub
- KN CAI and filter
- Larger heat exchanger
- Magnaflow catback with resonators
- xcal with custom dyno tune for 91 octane (I run 93 and had it on my local dyno, low 11 a/f and the truck made 380/490)
Interior:
8/10
- tinted windows (25%)
The seats have the normal wear and tear but no rips or anything. Just the typical buildup on the seats from rubbing. Also pictured. The door handles have flaked off in spots and had put color matched tape over it for awhile till that wore off, it's pictured but currently bare.
Exterior:
8/10
- trailer hitch package
- spare tire
Tires have less than 10k miles on them with great tread. The front bumper has a few scraps pictured underneath as well as a few rock chips pictured. The paint is still nice and glossy and would benefit from a good buff and polish. The truck has a few small scratches on the sides but nothing that can be seen from 5 feet back. The tail gate has two smaller dents pictured, had a trailer hitch ball pop off and trailer come up just enough to kiss it.
The truck isn't perfect but it's a solid truck and still looks damn good. I've owned a few lightnings and this one is a solid truck and fun to drive which gets a lot of looks with the exhaust. It's priced to sell and the price is OBO and also reflected below clean retail as like I said the truck isn't perfect but it's not a ragged out, dented, truck with issues. You could pick this up in Florida and drive it to Alaska, no issues.
The truck has been to the track a few times with a best in the 8th is 8.2 @ 84 1.8x 60ft. My girlfriend won the powder puff class at a local truck track day shoot out against viper trucks, she was running 8.4's spinning on street tires in the summer... truck is solid.
Price $12,888
