Were facing an issue on my friends Hellion twin turbo Cobra with compound boost,
Car has nothing but a complete Hellion twin turbo kit and a smaller upper pulley.
Issue is that it goes all the way up to 25 psi which is very risky on these engines, I tried almost all vacuum diagrams I could find but no use. I even disconnected the Boost controller and had the vacuum ling running from compressor to lower port of WG but still ran 25 psi.
Currently using the 5 psi spring on the wastegates.
However while trying different ways of vacuum lining we managed to pull 14~15 psi on the cobra and I wanted to know if 15 psi is safe to run on these engines or not.
any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
