2003 Cobra weird transmission noise

I have a noise that I thought was the cd changer until I cut it off, the noise sounds like a whissn coming from behind the radio and then when I push the clutch down it quiets almost goes away, the only other thing I noticed was sometimes the car hesites when I pull of in first, idk if it was because I have a spec 2 clutch, or tri ax shifter... I just bought the car like 4 days ago and I never had a tri ax short throw or a racing type clutch.

I think you need to inspect your thinga ma clutch disk through the watcha window. I think its an 8mm not to pull the cover off and you can look up in there. See if the TOB is riding the fingers. Search "Proper clutch adjustment"
