While in production, SVT had codenamed this model the "Terminator" since it was supposed to finally put an end to any competition between the Cobra and the Trans Am / Camaro.

You're gonna love it

I am guessing that somewhere in the book the fact that Torch Red is indeed the fastest color is mentioned. :)

A couple of the supplier parts bins at Dearborn Assembly had 'Terminator' stenciled on them.

Rumor has it a world class machinist might have pictures of said parts bin?

there are some nice pics of stuff saying "terminator" on them in the book. Also a cool little fact that there is only one part on our cars that says terminator on it and it was a mistake.

The book is a great read. The first book I have read for enjoyment in a long time. (double major and then a masters burned me out on reading for enjoyment. LOL!)

Same here. I do a lot of books on tape now though. It is about all I have time for. I just counted it up, and since October 9th of 2005 I have listened to 68 books. Ranging from "The Art of War" to "The Dark Tower" series by Stephen King that I am listening to now. There are probably about 10 more that are unaccounted for because I bought them in a store and did not download them, so I have no record of them. It helps to pass the time on the days that I have about 5 hours of driving.
