I am having trouble with my transmission in my 2001 Lightning. When i am driving normally i get very "firm" shifts. When i accelerate hard (full throttle) I get what feels like a back fire and an extremely hard shift usually around the 2-3 shift. Anyone else have this problem? What did you say to the dealer when you took it in? I already had my first tranny replaced under warrenty when it completely failed last year. Truck has seen maybe 10-15 trips down the 1/4 mile and is usually driven lightly. 100% stock drivetrain.
