2001 Lightning 3.55's?

Did the 2001's start with 3.55's and finish with 3.73's? Thought I remember reading that somewhere and about to get an 01. If this is true then is there a way to know what gears it has? Thanks guys.

99's and 2000's had 3.55's.
2001 - 2004's all had 3.73's.

If it is a stock rear end pumpkin cover, should have a metal tag on it with either 3 73 or 3 55 depending which year., which has been covered by previous posts.
