2001 Cobra gears

Picked up an 01 Cobra Vert, mostly stock.

Doing x4 tune and 4.30 gears. Never purchased a rear end rebuild kit for IRS.

Does Ford racing make 4.30s ? Is the rebuild kit different from an SRA?

You have to buy Motives, which are 100 bucks more. Motive made FRPP gears for a long time (dont know if they still do). They are quality gears. Some people contend that they cause gear whine, but gear whine is 100% the installers fault. I just ordered a set for my 99. Cant wait to have this kind of acceleration: rebuild kit is the same, however I think you need the carbon disk rebuild kit if you have 31 spline axles(dont remember if 01 cobras do or not) or you can buy a regular 8.8 rebuilt kit and just reuse your current s-spring.
