I just picked up a mint (after i cleaned the tips with a mixture of 000 steel wool and bug remover, then metal polish...looks better than my brand new 03 tips now) 2001 cobra catback from a fellow SVT poster in Rhode Island on Sunday for 100.00, popped it in yesterday and here are my impressions:
Went on in about 30 minutes, perfect fit.
The rubber hangars are a pain but...not that bad.
Sounds great, good snarl, you can actually hear the exhaust now, good blend with the blower, even drones a tad LOL...
This Morning I was breaking loose in first all over the place but it was probably the 30 degree temperatures around here.
For those that have to/want to have a semi-quiet or stealth sounding car; this is not a bad alternative or experiment for the price . At least until Borla comes out with the reportedly quiet but well performing XS system.... still wonder about the 2k drone with that one.
