Well... This is the first and last photo I have taken of these cars together. I have had #114 (left) for just over a year and a half and I have had #21 on the right since 2008 or 2009. I originally bought #114 to build as a full purpose track car but I decided I couldn't tear up a really nice car. She left with a new owner today.

Good choice on not tearing into it. There are others that have already been done or go a different route. Personally, I would shop for an ex-racer already built for pennies on the dollar. Take your time, they are out there.

Bitter sweet I'm sure. Congrats on the sale. Are you keeping the other one?

Yeah, if I buy another R, it will be a 95r with good race documentation. I trailered the car to Ford Carlisle on thursday and my dad drove it home on saturday. He put 90 miles on the car reaching a total of a 100 miles that I put on it in a year and a half. It was just time for someone else to enjoy the car as I have had no time.

If I come across a well documented 95r with substantial race history at a good price I would probably buy one. If not, my next car will be a 67 Shelby gt500 in Brittany Blue.... < That will be many years down the road :)

I won't sell my other R. The excitement I get from driving the car is wonderful. When I go to events or even being stopped at a red-light and someone says "I have never seen a real one" always puts a smile on your face!

Congrats Scott. Will #114 be local or did it leave the area? Very cool to see both of them in a picture together. I bet your Dad enjoyed his ride home from Carlisle.:burnout:

Thanks Brian. It now resides about an hour away in PA. He said it was a fun ride.

I was in DC for my girlfriends cousins wedding so I missed the car leaving. My dad told me the guy has a new Boss 302 and him and his son plan on driving these cars! That put a smile on my face.
