2000 Mustang GT alternator, 2 or 3g?

Hi is a 2000 Mustang GT alternator 2g or 3g? The reason I asked is because the local alternator shop told me that he could convert it to 200 amp for 80 bucks as long as it is a 3g. I just don't want to take it out if it's just 2g, thank you.
