Is there any way to get the T45 to shift more smoothly? I've driven cars with the T56 like the C6 Z06, and other cars with superior transmissions like 911's and a myriad of Japanese and German auto's, and it seems to be an obnoxious night and day difference. My T45 feels like a piece of shit. I know I'll never get it to be as good as a high dollar tranny but is there anything I can do to get it to work better? Maybe better synchros or something? I know absolutely nothing about manual transmissions other than how they work, so I'm clueless as to if they are modifiable or can be improved in a way that makes them much smoother, less notchy, easier to put into gear ect..
The reason I ask is that I just replaced my transmission because my last one was completely borked, along with a new clutch and T/O bearing, and it feels WORSE than my old one. It's more notchy, synchros seems slow, 2nd gear vibrates my knob like a dildo if I'm down shifting and revs are falling..
Thanks in advance for any info guys.
