I'm seeking some advise on a reasonably priced performance summer tires (live in FL, wet traction is also important) for a 20x9 front rim and 20x10.5 rear rim for a 05-12' Mustang GT. Stock tire size 255/40/19. If money was no object I'd choose Pirelli P-Zero or Michelin Pilots.

I'm thinking of 255/35/20 & for the backs I am still searching for options in 285-315 range keeping as close to the stock overall diameter.

I'd like to be more toward the 315 size and not 285. But for now it looks like my options have me leaning toward 285/30/20 BFG KDW 2s because I think BFGs tend to run wide vs. say a Nitto. Nitto NT-05s also are interesting but do they run narrow?

Thanks for the help.

Thank you for the post onelfastlride. We would be happy to help.

Nitto tires do tend to run narrower in size when compared to BFG. Since you want to stick with a staggered set that is close to the OEM rolling diameter I recommend going with the 255/35-20 front, 285/30-20 rear combination. For what you are looking for out of your next set the BFG KDW NT would be an excellent pick.
