2 Plug blew in 2 weeks!!!

Is the truck a 02?

My friend has an 02 and there are only three threads on the plug making it very succeptabe to getting shot out.

This dreaded problem seems to be across the board for all ford triton engines-

99-02 have 4 thread heads and 03-04 have upgraded 8 thread heads

Thanks guys. I'm well aware of the issue with the plugs. My problem, my frustration is that I've never had it hapen before, and then all of a sudden, 2 have blew out just like that. If it was just one, well then it was my time. But two in 2 weeks, makes my think somehting else is going on. Oh, and it was not just after a plug change either. If it was, I'd think I over tourqed them. Gerrr...

take my advice, while youre at it, just go ahead and do all 8 plugs now. use the time sert kit.
