2.8 kenne bell/TH400/e85

Well finally got the car mostly complete!! The current setup is a 2.8 Kenne Bell on 12psi running on e85. The car started as a manual until the trans let loose so I converted it to a auto (th400) with a manual valve body..... And this was the dyno results. 629/670

I'm taking to the 1/8 mile track this Friday, since Bowling Green, ky the closest 1/4 track to me is having some Harley shoutout so I'll have to wait till NMRA so see what she's got in the 1/4.

Great numbers!! I like your setup. How hard and what's involved in a TH400 swap? How do you go about the computer and that TRANS? Cheaper than the 6r80 swap?
I bet your cars a beast!!

Well finally got the converter taken care of and worked out great.....still had some launching issues idk if I didn't stall the car up high enough but as soon as I went to flash the converter it bogged then picked up and went pretty good my 60' killed me but it was a new personal best!

Is the blower to small for the 5.0? Only reason I say that is I had a GTO with 403 stroker and magnacharger and my dyno looked exactly the same, the torque loss came down to the blower being to small.

He's got WAY too much gear in it. We're gonna put some 3.73s in it and that'll take care of the launch. He thinks we're just doing 3.55s, but me and wreck it did some calcs and based on the converter slip and redline, we can get to like 140 before the redline with 3.73s
