2.5" or 3"?

Anyone with experience, cant decide between 3" Bassani that may be too loud or 2.5" Borla that sounds just right. Do these cars need 3" exhaust with minimal mods ( CAI, catted x pipe, and maybe chip) . Thanks for any help.:shrug:

The 03 Bassani exhaust is 2 1/2". NO these cars don't need 3" exhaust. Its whatever you prefer. I wanted a full SS system so I bought the Bassani. I also got it at the group price, so I couldn't pass it up.

Robertson Racin I was told today that Bassani has a 3" 03 Cobra specific catback.I like the sound of the 2.5" Borla but dont want to leave any power on the table.

On the Bassani 03 kit, the tips are 4" the rest is 2 1/2. Unless they are making something new, and you are the first to here of it. Do a search on Bassani, there have been several people post pics..

James, Take a look at the Magnaflow. There is a TON of discussions on exhaust on this board. You might be surprised at some of the factual results of many of the systems.
