2.3t..Intake an exhaust manifold porting??worth it?

I have a svo motor swapped into a 89 lx..I recently purchased a 88' Turbo coupe e-6 exhaust manifold an turbo.From what I have read the e-6 flows much better than the e-3..so is porting the e-6 worth the time?or are the gains minimal..and same for the intakes...gutting the upper? an knifing the lower..I read that this will increase top end hp a little but robs lower end..any input on this is appreciated..thanks

I did my whole exhaust, so I can't tell ya just regarding the E6 swap, but comparing the two side by side there is a significant difference just stock on stock alone. Make sure you inspect it good for cracks prior too.
