I have a 3.25 pulley on the blower now. I have a 3.5 if you guys think that will be safer. 550/505 right now. Any idea on new #'s if this setup is ok? I have the alternator pulley also. Thanks.

How much boost are you seeing with the current 3.25 setup?

If you put a 4lb , wont you hit 21lbs? With your current setup. Im making close to 19 lbs with just 2.76 upper only

17 lbs. Maybe get a 4lb?

If you're planning on running 93 pump gas, 19 lbs would be the absolute max. There are some people running 19 lbs on 93 no problems and i've heard of others hurting their motor. You can achieve that with the stock lower and a 3.00 upper.

Now if your car is not a dd and you're looking for more power, i would look into running some torco accelerator in your tank and running 21 or more lbs. I only drive my car on the weekends and this is what i'll be doing.

Not my daily driver, but drive it as often as I can. Think I'll just get an upper for now. As it is, I already need drag radials with what I have. My KDW's suck in 1st and 2nd unless I'm already rolling. Any idea where to get a smaller pulley? I am going to go looking now....

I ran a 2.2 with a 3.0/4lb lower for 9K miles and the seals in the front drive melted and starved it for oil. KB said that is too much constant blower RPM for the street.

Some have had great success, that was my story. As allways, YMMV.

2.2 rolled hard though, I miss that little guy.
