1999 Mustang Cobra in LA - Forged Motor, 03/04 Body, etc.
Selling my 1999 Mustang Cobra with low mileage and a variety of performance and cosmetic upgrades. I am the second owner and really don't want to see the car go, but after owning Mustangs for the past 12 years, I'm finally ready to move on.
Here are some basic facts about the car:
- 66,XXX miles
- Black exterior/interior
- 03/04 Cobra front/rear bumpers and hood.
- Black Saleen replica wheels w/ 295/35/18 rear tires, 265/35/18 front.
- Bassani catted x-pipe and catback.
- K&N FIPK2 cold air kit
- Cobra Daytona reclining seats
- Kenny Brown suspension braces and lowering springs
- Adjustable shocks/struts
- Spec 3+ Clutch (less than 12k miles, no track driving)
- 4 OEM Cobra wheels/tires
Aside from the above modifications, I was intending to build the car and add a supercharger or turbo setup, but that never happened. I purchased a built bottom end from Muscle Motors Performance and had Ghost Motorsports install it. Only 12k miles on new motor. Here are the specs:
- Manley Platinum Series Pistons
- Manley 4340 Forged “H” Beam Rods
- Kellogg 4340 Forged 3.750 Stroke Crankshaft
- Federal Mogul Race Rod + Main Bearings
- Ford Racing 4.6 Romeo Iron Block
- Manley/Total Seal Plasma Moly File Fit Rings
- 8.5:1 compression ratio
In total, the car has over $15,000 in upgrades and the Kelly Blue Book value is $13,400 (private party). The rims have a little curb rash (not the best parallel parker) and there are a few scratches on the back right, behind the wheel well. Given the Blue Book value and upgrades, I'm willing to take $13,500.
Please contact me for more information or to see the car in person. I'm located in Woodland Hills, CA.
