Does anyone know if a stock post fix 99 Cobra will sound like a stock 01? I have heard a new one and they sound nothing like the 99 I heard. Any help is cool.

Post fix 99s will be louder than stock 01s.and free'r flowin too!
-Ditto to what he said. People over on BlueOvalNews forums have mentioned the same thing about the 99's sounded a tad louder than the 01's.

All I have to say is that I have personally owned both a '99 cobra, and now a '01 cobra.
If someone is telling you that a STOCK (even post-fix) '99 cobra sounds louder than a STOCK '01 cobra, then they're smokin crack or something. my '01 is MUCH louder and better sounding than my '99 was (at least until i put the Flows on it).

I would have to agree with Hamilton, the '01 is much throatier sounding than a post fix '99.
-Maybe I was thinking of someone comparing an aftermarket catback added to a '99 Vs a stock '01 :-? -I'm probably wrong then. doh
