Hey just picked up a set of 1999-2001 tails and the driver side as in amazing shape but the passenger side has lost its chrome on the housing is there a way to separate the lens from the housing without damaging it? ill try to get some pics up of it

You can put them in your oven to heat up the glue that holds the lense to the housing. Eventually the glue gets soft and you can gently pry on the lens.
Just make sure you don't put them in while the oven is preheating. Flames kinda shoot down from the top of the oven on the inside and that wouldn't be pretty. Probably goes without saying, but you'll want to keep a real close eye on it.
Lastly, you'll probably just want to buy a GT tail light that has a housing in good condition and put the amber tail lense on there.
