...and 3.73 v the 3.55 and a different drive shaft too?

But, IMO that 20hp isn't that much difference especially ify our going to mod it...

there is ad here in truck trader says ...1999 ford lightning, at, 8 cyl., dynoed 507 hp, all pwr, white, 6 disk, tonneu cover, 82k miles, mostly highway miles, too much to list $16000 call 757-513-1251 cell - there is another 99 white lightning at a ford dealer here they say they just put a brand new motor in it and they are asking $16,000 for it too. really just all you got to go to is nada.com and look up average retail and that is what your probably gonna pay

Me too...back in late April I bought a 2000 Black one for $18,000.....basically stock....had the boost by pass and K&N panel filter....and 33,000 miles

with the extended warranty (which I recommend) tax, tag, and title...out the door for $22,000

Can I still get an extended warranty on my Lightning? I was thinking you had to do that as soon as the factory warranty ended? How much was it? That might not be a bad idea. Never know when you might spit a plug

When I bought mine, it was offered to me to purchase from the dealership.
If yours ran out, I doubt they will renew it ..... as my last truck had the warranty lapse and I wanted to re-instate it after a couple of months and they said no dice.

As a side note.....I'm glad I did buy the warranty because they just replaced the Eaton for making too much noise ......and it didn't cost me anything more than my deductable.
