I have a 1998 Contour SVT, 156k on body, 90 on engine. However, we tried to do timing chain, and got everything back together for the crankshaft to not rotate. Even with the chains off, the crank will only spin from 12 oclock to 2-3 oclock. Cams rotate easy, but the crank wont. The back middle cylinder seems to not budge at all when looking up thru oil pan area. Not sure if it needs new engine or if it can be unstuck? The body, tranny, clutch, interior is all in great condition.
