I have had the part-out thread going on for a few weeks now in the parts section of the Market. Well, I finally had some time and a few helping hands to roll the car out for pictures.
For those of you who would like to see the part out thread or simply would like to see the kind of parts that were coming off of this car here is the link to the partout thread:
http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...a-part-out-(Maryland)&p=15403347#post15403347
And now the car:
1997 Pacific Green Cobra convertible:
-Full Maximum Motorsports suspension
--K-member is the Hellion type
--Rear setup is the extreme duty TQ arm setup
--Tokico coil-overs front, spring/coil setup rear (street/strip spring rates recommended by MM currently on car…hooks up way too easy)
-Built rear
--Detroit true trac
--Moser 31 spline axles
--Ford Racing differential girdle
--POR-15 coated
-Massive return style fuel system (lines ran to engine bay)
--Glenn's 15.4 gal 03-04 cobra tank
--JPC billet triple pump Tophat
--3 x 400lph Walbro pumps
-- -10 feed, -8 return (Earl’s superstock lines)
--Single Magnafuel fuel filter
-Lower TQ boxes welded (uppers untouched since it’s a 3-link)
-SSR 3-piece wheels
--Powdercoated Yankee bronze with custom deep dish rears
--255 Toyo Proxes1 fronts
--315 Toyo TQ drag radial rears (tires in good condition)
-TCE Wilwood 6 piston BBK (much larger than standard Wilwood kit!)
-G2 painted black rears to match fronts with slotted rotors
-Dual solenoid line lock setup
-Vinyl convertible top replaced with much nicer fabric convertible top, well maintained
-Tubular 5mph bumpers front and rear
-LED headlights with Raxiom switchback turn signals
-HO Fibertrends Cobra RR hood (bumper and hood painted this past year)
15,000 miles on suspension
87,000 miles on roller
Are there modifications that I’m not listing? Sure, but this is the critical stuff.
Anyhow, a lot of time and effort has gone into this car as I think you can see. The suspension and tiny add ons that make a mustang capable of handling some serious power have already been done. Just add your freight train drivetrain setup of choice.
Now the bad, there are a few small dings here and there and the interior is not perfect (it's a 97...). If you want something for Barrett Jackson this is not it. However, if you want a 97 that is in overall good condition, with the hard prep work already done with some killer looks and a top down attitude, this is it.
If anybody is interested in the car feel free to PM me or shoot me an email at [email protected]
If you prefer phone or don't have an SVTP account my phone # is (443) 996-7444.
I am extremely busy so if I don't respond immediately don't freak out. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thank you,
Garrett
