1997 4v TOB

1st:

The trans needed to be replaced and the motor mounts are bad.

2nd:

I changed out the trans 2 days ago and replaced to TOB because it sounded like there was a turbocharger in the trans.

I drove the car home about 30 miles and no probs. But I started getting "cocky" with it and revved it up to about 3500 rpm.

NOW, when I take the motor above 2500 rpm it sounds like theres a QUIET turbo in there and when i shift it sounds like there's a QUIET BOV too. WTF? Is this cars destiny a blown TOB??? Completely different trans in there. Can a clutch cause this?

There is a new TOB in there. I just replaced it sunday.

Do a search in the SN(% forum section for Throw out bearing. This was just covered a few days ago and there was a wealth of info.

Unfortunately the TOB was a last minute purchase and I had to rock the "autozone."

We'll see how it works...
