Hey everyone!
I own a 1996 cobra that's currently in winter hibernation that just turned over 160,000 miles. I think it's time to pull the motor and tranny and give her a little more life. The goal is to rebuild the 4.6, put a blower, and a t-56 on it. My main question is if i get a 03-04 stock cobra eaton blower will that bolt up to my block? Taking in all ideas, would like to have 500-700 horsepower. Thanks!

To put an Eaton, or Whipple, or Kenne Bell, you are looking a relocating your alternator and a few other things, along with having to use an 03/04 Cobra timing cover. It is possible, but a lot of work if you do not know what you are doing. If you are looking for a relatively easy route for boost to push 500-700 RWHP, you are better off at rebuilding the motor and then either going turbo OR using a centrifugal style supercharger, like ProCharger. Both are much less work involved IMO.

You'll need the C heads to run an eaton swap. From there you'll need one of the bigger blowers (KB, Whipple, TVS) to hit 700. IMO the easiest way to hit 700 is forge your engine and put on an F1A or YSi. I think the JT will get you there, but I don't know for sure.
If you have time look into a turbo set up. Depending on how mechanically inclined you are that is.
