1993 Ford Mustang cobra
#261 of 4993
Built on 2/11/93

The car has a clean title, accident free and was purchased in Lexington in 1997. The car is red with gray interior and came from the factory with all options except for a cd player. However, the car does have a Clarion cd player installed. These options are leather, sunroof, rear defrost and a power driver seat. Mileage is at 111,533 and is not rising because I do not drive it anymore. Modifications off the top of my head include:

Moser 31 spline axles
FMS 31 spline differential
MAC rear end girdle
FMS 3.55 (23 tooth speedo gear installed)
Maximum Motorsports LCAs
Steeda UCAs
K&N panel filter
180 degree thermostat
Clifford car alarm
Polk speakers throughout
Maximum Motorsports SFCs
Flowmaster cat-back
FMS spark plug wires
Phenolic intake spacer
Stage 8 locking header bolts
ARP head bolts
Trick flow valve spring upgrade
PA performance 130 amp alternator
FMS timing chain
FMS balancer
SPEC stage 3 clutch
SPEC billet steel flywheel
Firewall adjuster & clutch quadrant
Steel bearing retainer
Tokico drag struts
Tokico blue shocks
255 lph Walbro high pressure fuel pump

I am selling because I don't drive it anymore. I am located in Lexington. If you have any questions pm me, email me at [email protected] or call 859-971-6353.

Why were the valve springs upgraded? Does the car have a cam in it or were the stockers just tired?

The car used to have a Crane 2031 cam in it so I upgraded the valve spring upon installation. Currently, the car has the stock cam in it.

The rear does leak a little, but the majority of what you see is from when the rear end girdle was installed. We werent' sure how much more flluid to put in there since the cover did require more and we overfilled it a little. Before I realized this I had driven the car a few days and some fuild had come out the weep hole on the passenger side axle tube. Being lazy and having two kids I never cleaned the rear end off.
