Update!

Dropped both transmission sump pans to find only about 1.5Qts of oil and literally 1/5" of solid black sludge sitting in both pans. It was terrible. I did not have my camera with me today but I thoroughly cleaned both and got the replacement filter and pan gaskets from the dealership. Also put new bolts and 4 qts. of Fresh Dextron III auto. transmission fluid in.

Started it up on jack stands and it went right into gear! No issues. Shifts fine, goes into reverse, etc.

Drove it around the block with absolutely no issues at all! 234k miles and still kicking

Keep up the work!! It sounds like your getting close to having it done for the streets. I am not sure you did, but I would do an engine flush next time you change oil.
