1991 mustang Notch swallowing GAS

its drinking gas like crazy 200 miles a tank stock gears with a 5 speed...
any ideas could it be the fuel pressure regulator?

I would pull the dipstick and smell it to make sure you do not have gas in the oil. Sounds like you may have a bad injector possibly especially if you smell the gas in the oil.

Also you will want to change the oil ASAP so you don't ruin the motor.:nonono:

Think my fuel sending unit is jacked up filled up this morning it only used 8.8 gallons on a 200 mile trip so it's not as bad as a thought
