Selling my 1988 ASC McLaren Mustang roadster. Designer Peter Muscat joined forces with ASC (a company well known for building one off convertibles and is responsible for the Buick GNX, etc. ) and ASC then brought McLaren on board to assist with design and construction. New Mustang coupes were purchased from Ford and the extensive modification process began. The roof was removed and the windshield was slanted back 20 degrees. Considerable custom body work included a convertible two seat "hideaway top" deck lid design, rear quarter panel modifications and an ASC/McLaren ground effects package. This particular automobile is serial #41 of only 1,015 cars built in 1988. It is 1 of only 27 sporting the special black cherry exterior color. The vehicle was previously owned by a retired Air Force Colonel and has received excellent care. It has been driven only 43,000 miles since new. It has new paint, new convertible top and nearly new Goodyear Eagle tires which are mounted on ASC/McLaren custom wheels. The 5.0 liter V8 and 5 speed manual transmission both perform flawlessly. Both the tan leather interior and carpet are in excellent condition. CPI (Cars of Particular Interest) book value not including an add for low miles is $19,425.00. It's really a sweet car that's ready to be driven this summer.

Asking $11,900 or best offer. Trades considered. Call me at (785) 342-7100 if you're interested. Thanks.

Stunning. I haven't seen a McLaren in that condition in 20+ years! Good luck with the sale and thanks for posting her here.
