1971 Ford Maverik 2004 Cobra Install??????

hey guys no idea where to put this, So if it needs to be moved i have no problem with that.

Here is my question. I have a 1971 ford Maverick, and i also have an IRS out of a 2004 Cobra sitting around. anyone know if i can fit it under a maverick (1970 mustang) WITH OUT having to put fender flares on the car? I.E can i run a tire with more offset to keep it under stock quarters??:read::read:

I would think it's possible. But have to find someone local or jump on the terminator section and see what the measurement is from hub to hub then figure out your backspacing. As far as mounting it i'm sure some type of brackets would have to be done. But i'm interested in seeing how it turns out. I can get a measurement later?
