Thanks for the complement !Damn looks like he's been washing it with 80 grit!
What a car though! The owner should be proud of what you've done. Good job & bet it was tedious and time consuming.
The before/after pics show a massive change in gloss after your efforts.
Thanks for the complement. It was a 30 year old restoration and yes it has clearcoat on the paint which made it easier to work with. No wet sanding was done on this car to get these results. Good techniques and good products, just takes time (12 hours or so). I used all Adams Premium Car Care products with a Flex 3401 for the 2 step paint correction. Since the car will be used on the track with other Shelbys and out in the elements of the track etc, I decided to put a coat of Liquid Machine Sealant, Brilliant Glaze and two coats of Buttery Wax, VRT tire dressing. Needed to give it the most protection I could give it since the car is being shipped out this week and wont see the car again.Looks great.
Tell us about the products you used!
Since it was restored previously looks like it is clearcoat?
Did you put 2 wash buckets in the trunk for the owner?
Really?, my bad. Maybe it felt like 2 years to get all the scratches out ! LOLBeautiful car, not a 67 it's a 65
