Can anyone tell me what is the max offset I can go with for wheels? I am looking to lose a little weight from my 00R and from what I can see for sale, there is a wide selection of wheels, just a bigger selection of offsets.....

The eBay link did not work for me, but I do see "S197" in the title. From what I have researched, the spacers shown below are needed to put S197 wheels on a 94-04 Mustang. On a 00R and 03/04 Cobra applications, there may be IRS clearance issues also?

I did use them for a season before I bought the CCW classics. If you're interested I can email you some pictures so you can see what they look like on an R.

I dont think it would be a good idea to use spacers on a car that is on the track. It just seems, this would add a bit of thought in the back of my mind that this could cause some sort of failure!
