I ordered wheel replicas staggered saleen wheels and they arrived but I'm having a difficult time choosing the right tire combo. Which tire combo would be most appropriate for a stock 96 cobra? I do like a little side wall and I am not a fan of tires that look like rubber bands. I also go to the local drag strip and prefer decent traction but really I just go for fun. I don't drive this car hard and it's certainly not a corner carver. Any body running either of these size combo's.

BF goodrich sport comp2 installed out the door for $904:
front 18x9 with 255/40/18, overall diameter is 26"
rear 18x10 with 275/40/18, overall diameter is 26.7"
My concern here is the rear will be too tall for the SN95 and look like truck tires.

Michelin Pilot super sport installed out the door for $1,196:
front 18x9 with 255/40/18, overall diameter is 26"
rear 18x10 with 285/35/18, overall diameter is 25.9"

I have ran the BFs before. They get slick after about half the tread use. I like The Nitto NT 555 for street use. stickier Than the BFs and still long life. Both will do what you need them to do. If you want Stickier go BF KDW2 for a street tire. kinda pricey though.

Damn those are narrow...

You should run 265/35/18 up front and anywhere between a 295-315 on the rear..

I'm running 275/35/18 and 315/30/18 Falken Azenis on 18x9 and 18x10 rims..

the 265 / 295 combo is a better size for the 9/10 staggered wheels. A 275 is too small for a 10" wheel, and looks goofy.
