I pulled the trigger on a set of Forgestar F14's yesterday in 17" with 10.5" rears.

I really want to retain my quad shocks. I only plan on running a 285 tire. Is it possible to keep them?

Should be fine, I'm running quad shocks with my 10.5" Enkei's. Ultimately it depends on the offset of the wheels. To get extra clearance you can flip the quad shocks too.

I also have a set of 1/4" spacers I could use if I really needed to. Hopefully I won't.

The offset is +31mm. Backspace 6.97"

Not sure of the offset on those rims but you should be fine. I had 10" rims with 315s on the back with no issues.

Also you can flip to shocks the create more clearance.
