17 x 10.5 wheels

For the street on the rears I want to put the stock goodyear f1's on 17x10.5 afs wheels. Will this look ok and will I have an irs bolt/frame rub problem. For the track on the rears same wheels but with nitto 315 drag radials. Any rub problem.

see the f 1s are 275 on a 9 inch rim and the 10.5s u will need a bigger tire

The Goodyears will fit on a 10.5 inch rim as goodyear lists the approved rim width from 9-11 inches. As far as rub, I dont think they will because the tire is still small enough but each car is different. I would try to find someone who has the 17x10.5 rim and the 275 tire and see if there is a rub problem. I have heard no problems with 18 inches and if you lower the car with springs, no rub problems with the 17's but you will have a rub issue on larger tires if you DO NOT lower the car (seems counter-intuitive).
