17 to 18 inch wheel question...

My wife just bought an 07 Vista Blue GT and it has the standard silver finish 17 inch wheels. We found a local guy who is selling his stock polished 18 inchers with stock tires. Will going from 17's to 18's require us to do anything like reprogram the ECU? I know in some cases it can screw up the shift points and speedometer.

I am new to the Mustang world so thanks for any help.

For vehicles with 17" wheels from the factory: -installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA

We got the wheels and tires and installed them and there are no issues with rubbing so the steering stops are not needed.

I also bought a TPMS reset tool and trained the sensors. It was easy to use and works great. I have it for sale for $25 shipped. Shoot me a PM if anyone wants it.
