17'' or 18''... ??

Sooner or later, i plan on getting a new set of rims for my car. I just cant decide if i want to stick with the 17's or go with some 18's.. what would you guys recommend? Either way, which ever size i do get.. i want to make sure i can put some really nice wide tires on the rims.

oh..btw.. the rims will more than likely be some sort of cobra or cobra r rims...

I'd say get the 18's and lower the car a bit. It gives it that show car look.

I like the way my car looks pounded on 18"s. see pic below.

17's are cheaper easier to come by, have better road manners-due to the fatter sidewall, sometimes handle better (ala the 03). Most drag radials are also 17inchers I believe.

18's are showier, and would fill the fenders more.

I'd say if ya do a lot of steet/strip-go with 17's and if you're a show car guy or just want a higher profile look go with the 18's.

Before i would have said 17's because of the deal with the DR's. But i think they are commin out with 18" DR's now anyways.... So whatever u like the best... (I like the 18's)
