Found an awesome deal on some 255/50/16 mounted on some 1995 pony wheel. Figured this would make a good cheap drag tire set up. I know the wheels will stick out a little bit but has anyone else used the older wheels on a 2011 mustang

You might want to find out the tire height of the 255/50/16 vs what you have now. It's most likely going to be a couple inches shorter than the stock set up.
Yea i have 3.55s in my car so i was wanting a shorter tire. it should be good for the 1/4 mile but im thinking i may have to shift into 4th before the 8th mile and thats mostly what kind of tracks are around this area
If it's any help to you I am crossing traps in the 1/8th in 3rd around 7k rpms (around 91-92 mph with 3.73s and a 27" tire.
what mods do you have? i have intake,tune,o/r x pipe
