15 HP difference?

Can someone let me know where SVT got those extra 15 Horses on the new Cobra's compared to the 96-98 Cobras? TIA, I was just curious.........

Redesigned heads and intake, IMRC plates were removed. I'm told the exhaust flows better as well.

Nope! 98 was the last year. Newer high swirl heads made them not necessary.
