A nightmare for me tonight at Carolina Dragway in Jackson SC. So I go to this drag strip for the first time with my 200 mile 2015 PP Base GT and to my chagrin you could not bypass the bleachbox. This led to a 2.7 60 foot and useless first gear and resulted in a 15.3 quarter mile. I found something interesting today though. This is my 2nd 2015 my first was a 3.55 base (built in October 2014) and this being a pp with 373 (built in June 2015) I could be imagining things or this 15 just FEELS ridiculously strong. I have noticed a few better quality control measures (my light switch does not rattle on the latter) I have also owned a 12 and a 14 (373). I know this could all be in my imagination or the PP really does make a big difference. Im going to put an et street under this car for the next time I go back and I feel 12.50s would not be a surprise with only a tire.

Track prep at Jackson seems a little shitty. And I have reason to believe there timing system is off. I went with a few people a couple weeks back. One had a '15 with full ARH exhaust, Roush mufflers, JLT intake and tune from Coastal Performance putting 446 to the ground. Car only broke into the 12's once. Had my fox with ported heads, ported intake, throttle body, injectors, full exhaust and 4.10's on 26x10 ET's and it couldn't get below 13.7's (8.7 1/8th) This same car was running 7.9 1/8th miles in Shelby N.C.
What was your mph? I ran a 2.7 60ft and 13.7 at 113mph with my bone stock 2014 auto GT in good air near sea level.

Interesting you say it FEELS so strong. I have not driven the 15 PP GT but my GT 6m base with 3.55's doesn't feel that strong to me for the power level. Do the 3.73's in the 15' make that much of a difference compared to the base with 3.55's you had? Not saying its faster but my 15MK7 GTI feels stronger in all gears with the only mod being a JB1 piggy that turns the boost up by 5psi. Those who have ridden in my cars fully agree.

I have ran the 12 and did a 13.20 stock. The run with the 2.7 was a total abortion of 1st gear and shift into 2nd. The car was hopping so bad I thought I was going to break a half shaft. For some reason their timing only includes 1/8 mile mph and did not include the 1/4 mph.

I tried to launch at about 2000 and 2500 rpms on my only 2 runs before I gave up. Once I aborted first gear completely and shifted into second I ended up at just over 80mph in the 1/8th. I am really hoping to find a 16" wheel that will fit the 15 so I can put an ET street slick on there. Not only for the traction but it helped cure the wheel hop on my 04 cobra as it provided some extra cushion.
