in the past few weeks I've found 3 ads on cars.com with discounts of thousands below msrp. those ads turned out to be false. here's another I found for Suntrup Ford in Kirkwook, MO.
$64,605 MSRP.
$5,144 Discount.
$59,461 Internet Price

Vert is black/black with shaker pro, elec pkg, and car cover. I just want Recaro seats as the only option, so I'm not pursuing it. I'm passing this along in case anyone else might be interested.
They had this ad on cars.com and their website also for at least a week. I emailed the dealer and below is the reply I got. Sounds a bit odd that he seems to be saying that the person who writes the ads for the dealership placed it that way, and that's why he will honor it. I emailed this afternoon and got a reply about an hour later.
the car is still listed on their website with this price.
[XXX], our gal that marks the price on the internet marked this one just like all the other Mustangs. We will honor the price, but it will change shortly.....so if you are really interested, I suggest you move on it now! We close at 5 our time 6 eastern. Let me know.
