13 GT Track Pack oil

Wanted to see what others are doing for oil on their track pack cars. For my first oil change I went with the 5W-50 Motorcrafter per the oil cap. I know I am giving up gas mileage using this oil. I don't plan on tracking car for a long time, car is my DD right now. I was thinking of using a 0W-30 or 5W-30 for a bit more protection over 5W-20.

What are you using?

i would stick with the recommended weight but change to royal purple.

I just bought Amsoil 10w30 signature series for mine. Haven't changed it yet though

Use 5w or 10w

I use Mobil 0w40 euro formula. If its good for my twin turbo BMW then it's going to be good for the n/a 5.0.

Shell Rotella T6 Synthetic 5w-40. Readily available in gallon jugs, cheaper than other "specialty" oils and PROVEN to work under far harsher conditions than we'll ever see. There are a couple UOA threads too, which show its stability. It's all I run in my '13 Track Package car.
