At last event and slowing the car down after 1/2 mile WOT event the rotors where getting a little blue. The plan is two piece rotors and pads but also the 13 brake duct kit.

Who has best price on '13 duct kit?

When you say "the '13 brake duct kit" do you mean FRPP or anyone that works? Because I already have my inlet fabricated and this is all I need and it's $170.

If you are looking for the Ford Racing one try this one. It's $360 and has the inlet piece. I can't speak for quality of either, as I don't have it yet and there may be a better price out there somewhere but this is what I found when I was making a wishlist for my car a couple of months ago. http://fordracingparts123.com/chass...-m-2004-mba/?gclid=CLzf9e2tursCFa9lOgod2kcAkw

I have the FRPP one that came with the car. It is a nice kit and fits pretty well. I don't really have a need for it and just put it on because it was there so I don't know if it is a 'good deal' or the 'best' in quality.

I pieced together my own kit for my 2014 GT. Has worked out great so far, although I did need to get creative for attaching the ducting to the bezels. More info available here:

A little off topic here, anyone know if we need the bumper bracket on a regular 13 Boss if we add the LS front lip?

Is that ducting the high temp silicone as well? Most of the high temp stuff I've seen is red. Just wondering - it's a great deal though.

Yes it's high temp, just not the typical red silicone.

I've been using it on our track cars as well as selling it for years, no issues at all.

I have an LS with the brake kit installed. Anyway this kit can be retrofitted to house small PIAA fog lights? I have been trying to figure out how to get a clean install and keep the cooking ducts.

looks like the JLT has a cleaner duct routing than the FRPP kit, because of the vent locations.
Tucker, do you have pics of the backing plate by any chance?

Also, can't remember where I saw it, but vorshlag makes vents hidden behind the lower grill in the same location as the JLT kit.

frpp is smoking crack on some of their prices. $300 for the splitter struts?!?!?!? I'm making my own splitter and using blowfish racings bracket/tow hook combo and also going to use their brake cooling kit along with the foglight bezels from ford as someone stated above.

There are 2 things you want for the best brake cooling.
1) as much air flow as possible
2) directing as much of that air flow to the hat without allowing open area for it to escape.

Blowfish kit uses 3" hose. Blowfish kit utilizes a backing plate that channels all the air to the rotor hat and closes up gaps better than any other to keep that air flow concentrated. The kit is a much more reasonable price than the FRPP unit, but does require having the proper ford bezels. if you need to buy them, the part numbers are included with the instructions and they can be had for about $50 for the pair.

Do you have the part numbers? Or are they part numbers for both 11-12 and 13-14 with the GT/CS fascia?

I only ask cause I don't see them listed. I'd like to know for sure I can order those parts before I buy that kit.

Else wise that is a much better deal than the FRPP set.

Those are only for 13-14's. The 10-12 just uses the boss/cs lower fascia...just like the 10-12 FRPP kit does.

I guess what confuses me is doesn't the FRPP kit come with pieces to attach to the Boss/CS fascia?

Boss is at the body shop so i can't look. If it bolts right up to the Boss/CS fascia with nothing extra needed, that is awesome.

Edit: NVM. Looked at the install guide for it, not sure why I never did before. See you just have to drill a hole in the plate in the front Fascia.

If you have a '12 boss, like your avatar shows, you will need nothing else. The FRPP kit for the 12 boss has exactly the same parts as the blowfish kit.
