I have a 2011 w/ SVTPP and recently got an unbelievable deal on a 13/14 TVS take off. After installation it put down 606 whp/ 611 tq. Just for conversations sake how does it stack up to a 13/14 stock GT500. it seems I have a 15-20 whp advantage and 3.73 gearing, and the 13/14 has improved suspension and the 3.31 gears helps with wheel spin and top speed in 5th gear. How to they compare head on? If I had the chance I would have definitely picked up the 5.8 but it would not have made sense financially. Both are great for what they are.

I wonder if those 3.73's might hurt your chances of hooking unless you have some sticky rubber. At the track it might not be an issue but on an unprepped road I know it is hard to hook with my measley 420 horses and 3.73's. The awful Pirellis don't help either.

Ive definitely learned the value of tires over the years lol. I currently run Michelin Alpine winters 285/40/19, Pirelli p-zero corsa system 295/35/20 in the summer, and 325/40/18 M&H at the track. All are great tires, and have nearly eliminated wheel spin when rolling on the throttle. I would never go back to the terrible stock goodyears.

From a dig or 40 roll with a very good tire on your car you might have the advantage over a stock 13/14, but from a 60 roll he's got you. The 13/14 can start in 2nd gear from a 60 and run it to almost 100 while you'll be in 3rd from the hit with 3.73 gears.

650rwhp here on a ported Trinity TVS and 3.73s with 315/35/20 Michelin PSS. Spins like crazy.

You would definitely benefit from a winter compound this time of year. Anything under 70 degrees blizaks, pirelli scorpion or sottozero, or Michelin alpine make a world of difference. I hook better at 50 degrees with a winter compound than I do with a summer compound at 80 degrees.

What pulley do you have on your TVS? I agree its a driver's race... traction is always a huge variable w/ these power levels. Give us the results if you ever find a 13/14... just be safe.

No doubt it will be a drivers race if both parties are on stock rubber. It could go either way.

Don't discount the 24 extra cubes and more aggressive cam profile. With similar mods and all else being equal, I'd give it to the larger engine. Traction on the other hand is the great equalizer.

Ive always wondered the advantage the the extra .4 lts. It seemed to me it cancelled its advantage out that it has over the 5.4 with the same blower due to the 5.4 getting 1-2 more pounds of boost with the 2.3 TVS.

When splitting hairs, at these power levels, traction trumps ultimate RWHP. My $ goes to the car with the better tire.

Not on this forum obviously but you would be surprised how many guys keep the newer cars stock as sort of a collectors item. Also those numbers seem kind of low unless it's a stock pulley tvs or very rich tune.
